Rey stands at the end of the access ramp, and she waits. Cold air surrounds her, making goosebumps form along the her bare arms, but she barely feels it. Everything replays in her mind over and over and over again, and she knows without a doubt that everything she saw was real.

Her head is down as she tries to regulate her breathing, and her hands curl into tight fists at the sound of his footsteps, slow and measured. She only looks up when she stops, and her throat tightens when she sees him.
