“It— uh, started off pretty loud there in the beginning,” Rey says with a soft, nervous laugh. “But it turned out alright in the end.” She bites the inside of her cheek. “We have a very complicated history.”

Rey finds that she wants to share at least some of this story, especially with someone who might better understand the scope of it. She can trust Jyn, that much she knows, so she swallows hard and turns to look at her friend.
