They seem so small cradled in his, and Rey can't help but to be soothed by the gentle way he touches her, like she's something precious. She's learned that this doesn't mean that Ben thinks that she's fragile. It means that he loves her.
"There's the spare room here, and there's always the Falcon," Rey murmurs as Ben carefully applies ointment to her wounds, because she knows that each of them will still need their own space sometimes, even if they do share a home.
