When he speaks, Rey opens her eyes to stare at him, sniffling a bit. She has been told this before, by Ben. Rey isn't sure why the concept is something that is so hard for her to understand. She is still afraid of the blood inside of her and she can't seem to shake it, but every time someone tells her that it doesn't matter, she believes it just a little more.
Rey stares at Obi-Wan for a long moment, shivering in the rain, and then suddenly launches herself at him, wrapping her arms around his middle as she presses her face into his shoulder as she clutches at him.
"I searched for my family for so long, and this is what I found," she tells him, gripping at his robes as she squeezes her eyes shut. "He killed them. He killed my parents. He wanted me to take the throne and rule the Sith, but I wouldn't. I would never do that."
