Rey looks up in surprise at that, sniffling a bit as Obi-Wan holds the robes over her shoulders. They're a Jedi's robes, and she sinks into the warmth of them as her chin wobbles slightly.
"I'd like very much to be your family," she finally says, swallowing hard as she does her best to let Obi-Wan's words and his calming energy settle within her. The sudden arrival of the throne and Palpatine's voice in her head had frightened her, but he isn't here. It's just a thing, and she has no reason to fear it.
She is still Rey Skywalker, because she chooses who she gets to be. No one else.
