She turns to watch him go, and then faces front to give herself a moment to breathe. It all feels a little like a dream, like she'll wake up and--
And what? Maybe Ben is wrong. For as much as he says that she's alive somewhere, she feels a seed of doubt growing. Maybe she just needs to rest.
After finishing her juice, she slides out of the booth and steps up next to Ben, watching curiously as he counts out unfamiliar currency. A small coin rolls off of the counter and she shoots her hand out to grab it before it falls, leaning in to set it with the rest.
"Thank you," she says, and for a moment she isn't sure why. "For the food."
