He knew that her body stood elsewhere, snow clinging to her lashes, but they seemed destined to grasp for one another, despite whatever physical distance stood between them.
He fumbled with his clothes, ungainly as he pulled on a baggy, misshapen sweater he'd purchased secondhand.
