Rey swallows hard, jaw working as she looks ahead. She shrugs out of the coat and tosses it over his arm, covering the hand that he’s held up to stop her, and lifts her chin as she forbids her body to give a single shiver.
“I’d rather you just take it now then,” she says coolly, walking a few paces ahead of him until she realizes that she has no idea where to go. She stands there, glowering at the snow dusted street, and looks over at him once he catches up.
“If you just point me in the right direction,” she tells him with a slight furrow of her brow, “I can go myself.”
